Hi, I have been struggling to find a not super expensive Flex ATX PSU for my desk 1U keyboard tray build - however, I have found a server PSU w/ a breakout board of 12*PCIE 6Pins giving only 12V.

I am currently prototyping this build w/ a X58 rig, power consumption should be mostly CPU&GPU related.

AFAIK CPU EPS 8pin has consists only of 12V-ground pairs, thus I could power the CPU directly from the PSU. Would it work? Thanks!
