Ok so ik upgrading a cpu cooler will help increase the CPU performance right, but does that in return upgrade the CPU in your PC? An example of this would be two AM4 PCs with 5800x3Ds, one with a Noctua L9i and the other one with a Noctua NH-L12S (both compatible coolers according to Noctuas official website).
Would the 5800x3D on the NH-L12S be a better CPU than the 5800x3D on the L9i? There the same exact CPU, just with different coolers. Is one 5800x3D considered an upgrade over the other 5800x3D based purely off the CPU cooler? I didn't swap the CPUs with anything else, all I did was upgrade my cooling.
It would be much different if we were to compare a 5600x to a 5800x3D because one is OBVIOUSLY an upgrade over the other but that’s not the case when comparing two of the same CPUs.
