Hey all, I'm looking for some tech help.
I recently bought a universal remote, the Sofabaton U2, for my parents home theater set-up: FiosTV box, LG TV, and an Onkyo audio receiver. The Fios and Onkyo are set up with a Next Generation Remote Extender, which uses a battery to broadcast the remote signals to receivers in front of the boxes.
While the Sofabaton works just fine when pointing at the boxes, it seems like it might be incompatible with the extender set up.
Does anyone have any experience with Universal Remotes and Next Generation Remote Extenders?
As it currently is set up, my parents need to turn the Television and Audio on and off separately, so I was hoping a macro remote would solve the issue.
