Hi,

Just setup my 5.1 Elac speakers. I got the Debut b6.2 as the LR, c6.2 as center and the 4" passive bookshelf was the surrounds. I already had an old monoprice 12" 150 watt subwoofer so I'm using that for now. All running off a Denon x1800.

The problem is that I feel like the audio from the front e speakers sounds just ok. It's fine but I feel like something is missing. The sounds and dialouge are clear but never really full or robust if that makes sense. I can pump up the volume to a point where it's too loud for me but it still feels lackluster.

Not sure if its the crappy sub I have but when playing action films, I feel the the big explosions are fine and boomy. But the regular audio is almost always lacking.

Already did the audessy calibration too

Any ideas if it's just a setting thing in my reciever? Or maybe the Elacs are just not to my taste? And suggestions for other speakers to try?

Thanks
