Hey y’all

First timer here, bought a projector from a thrift store which is great for us.

Except it seems a bit dim as- in unusable during the day and the quality of the color isn’t the greatest.

Are we losing light through the vents here or is that normal? Lamp hours say 1380, but who really knows I guess.
