Hi there! We sell GPS trackers, and each tracker comes with a label from the manufacturer that has its serial number (SN). Sometimes, when we refurbish devices, the label can get worn out, and I want the option to reprint it.

I've been checking out Zebra printers, specifically the Zebra ZD421. I've never used Zebra, Brother, or any other Thermal Transfer Printers before. I need a Thermal Transfer printer to prevent the label from fading.

Ideally, I'd like software that allows me to create a template with placeholders. This way, when I need to print a label, I can just type in the serial number (ESN), new barcode, IMIE, and everything else around it stays the same. I've included link to two sample pictures of the trackers we use. The labels are about 1.625" x 2.75". If the size needs to be smaller, I can adjust things on the label.
