/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

... which is almost the same number of times "Pump up the jam" is being sung in the 1989 one-hit wonder of the same name by Belgian duo "Technotronic".
*cue Pump Up The Jam*

I can't believe that never got old as I watched Cunk on Earth. I had to laugh every time

I hate that song.

But that joke got better and better each time. To the point that now I don't really hate the song as much because I can just associate with that.

Also, pump up the jam is an anagram for jam up the pump.

Oh man, Diane Morgan in a Starfleet uniform is going to awaken something in me...

Don't it though? It's like when you combine two seemingly unrelated foods and they create something new and magical.

Yep. I wanna eat her.

Someone please get her to do this!

I feel like Lower Decks could make this happen.

Yes!

"Crew, we have with us today a ... what did you say your title was?"

"A 'Documentarian'. It's like a Historian, but the history I'm writing about is happening now, so it's not history yet. My mate Paul says it will be history in about a hundred years or something, but we're not waiting around for that because it would be boring. But I'm also speaking into a little recorder-thingy, so there's no documents either. Just speaking now instead of documenting a hundred years from now. So really it's just a Speakery-Now sort of position."

Roughly three hundred and fifty years after the release of the BBC comedy, “Brush Strokes”.

But the important question everybody's thinking but not asking: how long removed from Pump Up The Jam?

This is a good meme.
