Frustration can be a good thing and I'll tell you why. When you are frustrated with something, you are experiencing cognitive dissonance and that means that the world around you isn't matching up to your expectations. The fact that you can get frustrated about something means that you have goals and intensions for a final outcome. When I 3D model something and get frustrated the program isn't doing what I expect, I can count that as a good thing: I have a clear and vivid idea of what the final outcome should be. If I were to take up something that didn't interest me at all, say dancing or ballet, I wouldn't get frustrated because I don't have an expectation for a final goal. When you get frustrated, it could be an indication that you are on track to meet your goals. Frustration is a concept familiar to everyone who has ever learned before. When the value of the final product you envisioned is worth more than the mental toll of frustration, it will likely happen.
Get frustrated today.
