There’s a really nice app called Daylio which lets you track this stuff, and generates reports for you pretty similar to this one. I’ve been using it for years.

If you're a fan of apps, Moodistory is a good one. The free version does plenty for me.

How did you get there? Your mood seems quite consistent and overall it looks like you're quite happy.

Eg, I wouldn't exactly say these are happy/unhappy. Just more of a good/bad day scale. I've got a lot of other stuff to work on before I think I can be "happy".

Oh I like the look of this one, cheers

That's pretty interesting. Did you gain any insights from doing this?

The antidepressants are clearly working. It also appears that I don't have seasonal affective disorder.

I've been keeping a whole ton of records of habits since basically 2020 including but not limited to happiness ratings and masturbation days (labelled deed)

The extra e stands for edging - it's a common abbreviation amongst geenks (aka kink geeks)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 7 months ago

That's the first time I've heard the term geenk, and even Google doesn't really find anything with it. Did you just come up with it?

What app or program is this?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 7 months ago

"Habits" app. Highly recommend.

What happened last January?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 7 months ago

Looking forward to the first year with hopefully no COVID lockdowns. Riding the high of the still relatively new job that I enjoy. Generally things were going really well for a bit there.

Tracking your life like this helps uncover macro patterns that are hard to see day to day. For example, is there an impact from changing a job, or entering, exiting a relationship, or moving to a new home.

This zoomed out view can teach you how to predict the future impact of such changes, and perhaps that can guide future decisions.

You can use this to ask and answer all kinds of questions.

We can see that OP had a pretty good January, but the mood went down in Feb. Winter blues? Maybe add a vacation at the beginning of February this year.

Only OP really knows the detailsbfor this case but I think everyone can benefit from macro tracking.

Winter blues?

Nah. My dad had a heart attack and had to go in for surgery. He's doing fine now but that better not happen again this year. It really set the tone for the next 3 months or so.

I am adding this to my bullet journal.
