I'm interested in finding a community for game developers on Lemmy. Considering Lemmy's current size, I'd say it's best not to reduce the scope to just technical stuff, so that more people and topics are welcome and the place can grow. Just my 2 cents.

I don't want this place to end up like reddit or gamedev.net, where almost all posts are either thinly veiled advertisements pretending to be asking for critiques or highly specific marketing questions. I'd like to attract the game engine developer type of people, not the asset flippers.
