Good. Why do we subsidize companies that gouge us while reporting record profits? Had they done this 20 years ago maybe the country wouldnโt be on fire.
Had the o&g companies published their 1970's findings that their continued existence meant the end of ours, maybe the whole planet wouldn't be, either.

The Federal Minister making the announcement in the article specifically talks about other ways oil and gas can access other subsidies. It's just not oil & gas specific subsidies.
