I'm assuming this has something to do with the new PM threatening the profits of the wealthy?

That's usually when these things happen. People just can't stand the idea of their overlords making less money.

Yeah, everything in this article is centered around the new PM threatening the status quo (rich people getting richer). It even uses coded language like "upsetting key Western allies."

Of course a member of their """democratic""" party will have an issue if whoever is elected democratically threatens the wealthy.
