I keep getting an error via Jerboa that says "language not allowed" sometimes when I comment, but I'm not using anything vulgar or negative in my posts. Could this be a language setting issue or are there banned words or something?

It's only happening here on sh.itjust.works, it's fine on other instances. Help?

I believe this is because Jerboa doesn't yet let you select the language for your comment. Whenever I switch to the Web browser I can select the language and then it let's me comment

Indeed it does not yet sometimes my comments post successfully, other times not. It's very strange.

I was getting it on lemmy.world.

Also, if any dev is reading, any chance we could add an auto-save feature for our posts in case there's an error? Lost a good 20 minutes of typing due to this error, which is unfortunate.

I’m having the same problem on discuss.online. I tried to comment that my favorite retro game is Super Mario 64.

Edit: and it worked here but didn’t work on the retro gaming community post I tried to comment to. 🤷‍♀️
