If we have to sell in January to help raise funds to bring in a player (Osimhen or other), who do you see really as an outgoing player to actually raise money. The only 2 I can really come up with are Ramsdale and Emile Smith-Rowe. I don't anyone else really moves the needle in terms of bringing in enough money to matter.
Depending on who we're targeting we can sell Nketiah, ESR, Viera, Nelson, Partey or Ramsdale

Fair play to Big Ange on still sticking with his principles, whatever the results say. I dont think he'll change, maybe he will adapt a bit, but the quality of the players and depth is already showing warnings signs since that loss vs Chelsea.

Would we consider the loan market in jan for a versatile defender? I’m not sure it’s prudent to spend the cash given our current crop is excellent, just missing timber and maybe white. Will run into a similar issue we have w kiwi in not getting the minutes
I fully accept that Raya is the undisputed #1 for this team, but I would be so happy for Ramsdale if he was given the CL game today. I'm 99% sure it'll be Raya, but I think it would go a long way in showing support and trust in Ramsdale if he gets picked today. And until Ramsdale is fully out of the club, we might still need him if something were to happen to Raya. Showing support for Ramsdale when he's down would go a long way to make sure he's still part of the team

If we win against Lens tomorrow he may get a chance in our last group stage match, but I don't see Arteta suddenly drop Raya for an important match, especially not after Ramsdale performance Saturday .
So in a must win game at home to guarantee qualifying 1st in the group against arguably our toughest UCL opponents in said group, we should start the number 2 ahead of the fit and ready number 1 because in the event something happens to the number 1, we’ll need the number 2 to feel part of the team?
