One of the screenshots I was considering was from the brief flash of Bravern cutting pieces off a sprue as if he was assembling a model kit, like a Gunpla fan.
That's absolutely ridiculous when you realize that the sprue and kit probably came out of that 3D printer in his workshop, and if you have one of those, you really don't need to put parts on sprues...
Yes! That visual was so funny. I actually had to go back and rewatch that bit to make sure of what it was. It goes by so quick.
In general, the comedy writing in this show is really well done. Jokes fly by and are mixed seamlessly with visual gags and everybody plays the straight man. We even had a fourth wall break this episode when one of the pilots said "Isn't this when someone says impossible" and then 5 seconds later, the admiral says exactly that. I am on mobile atm or I would pull up screenshots.
