The only reason it "never has gone well" because nobody in history, have ever thought of doing anything bold. They all relied on the dumb voting system, a system of which has been and currently is being threatened and sometimes dismantled by a party that's out to rig the election in anyway it can.
Tell me how then, is that supposed to go well in of itself? We've seen this happen in 2000 with a "hiccup" in Florida with the count. We didn't see any bullshit happen until 2016 and after 2020, we've been dealing with a chain of events about the election being stolen and Republicans going out of their way to challenge voter rights.
Tell me again - how is this all going well as opposed to not voting? I doubt you have a good answer.
Therefore, let that party gain control.
Do you listen to yourself?
Things would be so much better if more people voted in 2000. Gore and Bush were five hundred votes apart, in Florida. If Gore won - no war in Iraq, no ISIS, possibly no DHS. Certainly no eight years of fearmongering and bigotry under the "rainbow of doom" terror alerts.
If voting didn't matter - why the fuck would Republicans try so hard to stop it from working?
I am directly addressing the point you chose.
No "hiccup" would have been possible, if more people voted.
Not voting isn't bold. If you're going to do something bold, do something bold, but otherwise the least you can do is vote
For one thing Biden was able to get Ketanji Brown Jackson on the supreme court instead of another Kavanaugh/Barrett/Gorsuch
