Getting buzzed and gaming. Not a great evening.

It's okay from time to time. I've been doing it too much recently.
Well it’s good you recognize that at least. Moderation is key
I was doing that a lot over the holidays, and decided to do a dry January. It is doing wonders for my gaming nights. You could try it next month (shortest one of the year, so a little less commitment).
I hope you find yourself soon in a place where getting buzzed and gaming is a positive instead of negative
