Comic Books
A place to discuss comic books of all types, from old to new, Big 2 to indie, and everything in between.
Floppies, graphic novels, compilations, omnibusses (omnibusi?) are all fair game.
There is only one rule:*
Comic Books is a no judgement zone.
You can talk all you want about how Rob Liefeld is trash, Bob Kane is an asshole, or Frank Miller and Dave Sim’s politics have made them toxic, that’s all good.
If, however, another user is LEGITIMATELY a fan of something you don’t like, that does NOT make them a lesser person. Attack the art for being bad, not the person for being a fan of bad art.
* I lied. There are TWO rules... No piracy. Cover shots? That's good. Interior pages, in moderation? Sure. Full books? Links to pirate sites? That's how we get things shut down. :(
I'm not saying it's been a problem, because it hasn't been.

Digging that the thumbnail is Bizarro this week, the Bizarro preview in the back of the DC books last week was great! "ME AM SAMEST BIZARRO EVER!" Oh boy! Here we go!
Action Comics #1061 - Bizarro's back and you're gonna be in trouble! Hey na, hey na! Bizarro's back!
Adventureman Ghost Lights #1 - Ooh! New Adventureman! I'm in!
Antarctica #7 - Bizarre tale of frozen wastes and parallel earths. 3 more to go!
Barnstormers A Ballad Of Love And Murder TP - I guess they just stopped doing individual issues and jumped to the trade? Same thing happened with Seeds.
Blue Beetle #5 (Spanish Language Version) - I already bought the English language version last week, but I wanted to note how cool it is they're doing a version in Spanish!
Fafhrd And The Gray Mouser Omnibus TP - Oh, man, if you NEVER heard of this you are in for a TREAT! From 1970 to 1988 fantasy author Fritz Lieber wrote seven books of Conan-style fantasy surrounding mountain man barbarian Fafhrd, his best friend, the much smaller theif and assassin the Gray Mouser, and the wretched hive of scum and villainy known as Lankhmar. Dark Horse has collected multiple comics adaptations by legends in the industry like Howard Chaykin, Mike Mignola and Al Williamson.

Green Lantern #7 - Post Sinestro fallout.
Madness #6 - Final issue of JMS' indie run.
Normalman Fortieth Anniversary Omnibus HC - Trapped in a world he never made! 12 issues of delightful superhero parody.
Outsiders #3 - Blew it off thinking it was a Planetary knock off, it's not. It's a full Planetary sequel.
Sacrificers #6 - Will be interesting to see where this is headed, I was not expecting the big twist in #5.
Ultimate Spider-Man #1 - Here we go, Ultimate Universe is back!
Wesley Dodds The Sandman #4 - More of that old school JSA goodness.
Rise Of The Powers Of X #1 - Putting a pin in the Krakoa era, getting ready for the next big reboot.
I didn't expect that either from The Sacrificers! Tbh I can't imagine how one issue will wrap it up, I for sure need a second arc.
