Does Bill Gates count as a tech bro as he's the only exception I can think of.
To succeed in tech I guess you have to have some ego, but they really do seem to be overwhelmingly children about everything.
He’s more of a tech grandad.
Bill Gates is an asshole who somehow managed to polish his image so that people born after say 1990 think he's a nice guy.
Somehow other tech god-kings are so odious all Gates had to do was take the position "sometimes it's bad when people die" and now everyone treats him like a kindly grandfather and not the bloodsucking monopolist demon he absolutely still is.
