Starting next year in Fribourg, pads will be distributed free of charge in more than 70 public buildings. These include not only schools, but also museums, sports facilities and all administrative buildings.

I can see two kinds of reasons why people would be against this.

Selfishness -> "why should I pay for other people", or the so-called libertarians that hate taxes Misogyny -> "why should I pay for women", or the so-called conservatives that hate other people than them having nice things.
