I have been searching the web on how to backup/download your reddit post history, but I have not found any good tutorials. Could someone explain how to do this?

No worries, many of us are still getting used to this place. I'm afraid I don't now the answer to your question, this is the closest I could find, but it is to backup a subreddit, not a user profile🤷 https://github.com/rileynull/RedditLemmyImporter
