There are websites that do things like this. For some time I worked in one. The part missing here is analyzing the user’s pantry.

Funny how every useful thing is no longer AI. Only the things that promise to be useful are AI.

Maybe something to scan bar codes when you buy something, scan it when it's used and you throw it out. If you haven't scanned something out in x number of months, it tells you to throw your moldy shit out and clean your fridge.

You'd have to live a pretty predictable lifestyle, but I'd imagine something like that could predict based on usage when to order more mayo because you're going to run out, or to double check what you have left to buy before you do.
