Bun is 5 now but was so small back then!

Really? I've never owned a bun before, so are they picky about who can hold them in general?

Yeah, they are prey creatures so to them it gives them the feeling that a hawk is carrying them away. Most rabbits get freaked out by it. Bun is okay in my arms but the second someone else tries she looks so terrified.

Thanks for the explanation, I can see how now being held might make them feel powerless and scared. You're so lucky to have at least one bun who likes it. Do your buns like headpats too?

Out of the three people who have tried to hold our bunnies, they absolutely never let my husband hold them, they'll let me do it for a few seconds and nose scritches, and my mom can hold them for as long as she wants and they love it. I think she's a witch.
