Surely it would place a massive asterisk on all the trophies won during his time at Man City? In future discussions on the greatest manager would this be a talking point which stains our perception on him? Or will he still be lauded as the greatest by some despite the wider context?

Pep’s real legacy:

Doped as a player.

Doping scandal in Spain while he was at Barcelona covered up by the country’s govt. (search Ramon Sequra)

Failed to win UCL at Bayern.

115 charges at city.

And even despite all that he is still clearly the best and move innovate manager in the world.

I know this sub wants to write him off because they don’t like him as a person and they don’t like city, but it’s genuinely stupid to pretend the clear management prowess he’s shown.
