Surely it would place a massive asterisk on all the trophies won during his time at Man City? In future discussions on the greatest manager would this be a talking point which stains our perception on him? Or will he still be lauded as the greatest by some despite the wider context?

This is kind of a two edged sword. Sure, I'd love to see the guy knocked down a peg or two, but IIRC, all this happened prior to Pep arriving. I specifically remember Mancini being named in some of the charges. However, in the same breath, if the before cheating hadn't occurred, would pep be there in the first place winning all this?

I think the legacy for him is there, I have to admit getting all those big dollar egos to play his boring...yet effective...style seamlessly is a feat to be lauded, but there's always going to be questions on how that legacy came to be. Add in the barca scandals and City might be all he'll have.
