Seriously. How many matches did we cheer for Xhaka playing rough and tumble (and sometimes dangerously) for us? They’re players are just men doing their jobs, just like ours. They aren’t scumbags, they are competitors just like Saka or Saliba or Raya. The refs made calls that were shitty for us, but that doesn’t make, for example, Miguel Almiron a jerk.

Full disclosure: Miggy won an MLS title for Atlanta and will always have a warm place in my heart for that. But my point stands.

Finally, there is some sense among the Gooner fanbase. Shame it took so long scrolling to find it.

Newcastle fans (in general) have, until very, very, recently, had nothing but respect for Arsenal.
