I’m very new to this place (Reddit refugee) so I’m not entirely informed on how it works yet. I’m just a bit worried that displaying somebodys main server anywhere will lead to a lot of tribalistic triggers in our monkey brains, which could lead to disputes down the road.

The nice thing is that you can easily create an account on a different server. You can have as many as you like. You're new, so take the time to explore and see where you want your account to live.

I'd think of it a bit like which email domain you're using. I'm probably not going to hold it against you but it does come with some preconceptions.

I'm just using a display name because I like how short and neat it looks. You're welcome to see my instance by clicking on my name.
