Final Fantasy XIV and VII Rebirth have won awards in the following categories:

  • Best Audio - Final Fantasy XVI
  • Best Lead Performer - Ben Starr, Final Fantasy XVI
  • Most Wanted Game - Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Final Fantasy XIV lost out to Baldurs Gate 3 this year for Best Community - it had won for the previous 2 years. And Ralph Ineson missed out on Best Supporting Performer for his performance as Cidolfus Telamon in Final Fantasy XVI.

Final Fantasy XVI also missed out in other categories such as PlayStation Game of the Year and Ultimate Game of the Year.

Well deserved for Ben Starr! His performance as Clive was phenomenal.

Not too surprised with FFXVI losing out in other categories. The game is good overall but this year is stacked with so many amazing games.

Ben was amazing as Clive. Even recency bias around Spider-Man 2 (which had amazing VA performances) doesn’t sway my opinion that Ben deserved it.

I am surprised that Ralph Ineson missed out though, I expected him to take that one.

It’s been a good year for gaming, imo.
