If lemmy had user-defined filters, I'd use them. Right now I'm downvoting the stuff, but there's already a community for musk-related stuff: [email protected]

I think it would be pretty simple with some tooling to auto-flag articles with titles that include either "Elon" or "Musk," and then a moderator would look at a list and approve/reject each one. Still tedious, just probably not that complicated.

And yeah, we should absolutely have a concept of tagging. Maybe follow Steam's lead and allow user to suggest tags? If enough users suggest the same tag, it could auto apply and then mods would get a notice and either approve or reject the tag (or kill the thread).

Both require tooling, and I'm not sure if lemmy has that yet.
