It is a fairly decent read. She’s not that great of an author, however her characters are much of what I recall from college — ideas. Representations of her philosophy. Sure, there are hypocrisies in them, as it is in human nature. I could go on and on, but there are large sections of her books that go more into ‘Objectivism,’ which is foundation of Journalism. Seeing facts for the facts. Not dressing them up. There were characters that weren’t into appearance — subjectivity. It was very black and white. Hardliners. Sometimes to their own demise. I read ‘Anthem’ before that and found it a good quick read to have a nice general idea of her thoughts, concepts and where she was going with her philosophies. I believe if I were in a room discussing with others it would be more of a lively conversation, but for now I have Lemmy and my friends to discuss together.
Next is ‘Atlas Shrugged’
