A community to satirize conservtive and right-wing "ideals".
This community (now) exists as a pressure valve, a place to process through humor the often frustrating world of conservative politics. Above all, this is NOT the place for serious conservative support/viewpoints/arguments. There are other places on Lemmy for that if you desire it.

Parody With Purpose: This is a space for humorous takes on conservative politics. We welcome satire, but draw the line at content that promotes racism, sexism, homophobia, or other forms of bigotry.

Memes Over Manifestos: This community focuses on humor and parody, not serious political debate. There are plenty of spaces for earnest conservative discussion, this isn’t one of them.

Highlight Contradictions: Sometimes the best content points out inconsistencies and hypocrisies in conservative talking points. Creative commentary is encouraged.

Public Figures Fair Game: Politicians and pundits can be satirized, but no targeting of private individuals, doxxing, or harassment.
Children of public figures under the age of 14 are also off-limits, a 16 year old has enough free agency to break with or adopt their parents views. An 8 year old kid doesn't.

No News Zone: Memes only, news or other serious content should be sent to the nearest relevant comm. Meme's of current events, however, are encouraged.

Clear Satire: Make your satirical intent reasonably clear. We’re here to mock bad ideas, not accidentally spread them. If you're unsure how it will be taken, feel free to DM the mod team ahead of time or explicitly tag it as satire in the body.
A note on ChadMcTruth: Chad's content is 100% satire, but his work can sometimes be hard to tell, but if he posted it be assured, its satire.
- Relevant Content: All posts should relate to conservative politics or ideologies in some way somewhere in your post. Either in the title or the meme itself.

Well, his very first comment was a lie. I'm not here for people to say I'm right. He then followed up by saying my comments are not in good faith, another lie. He follow up by doubling down on these false claims. Elsewhere in his history (which is fair game since he decided to attack mine), he claimed that conservatives don't legitimately hold any of their positions and are just making excuses for bigotry, which de doubled down on here. He claimed that I'm a bigot, which is false. His response to you is just a bunch of dishonest crap.
So you’re being genuine when you’ve told people elsewhere on this thread to kill themselves? You genuinely want people to kill themselves over comments they made to you? Is that what you’re saying? Again, genuinely asking.
I’m not concerned about your, or their, comment history. I’m concerned with this specific thread, since you’ve said numerous time that they’ve lied specially in this thread.
I mean, I can completely understand why people think that those that voted for Trump are bigots. Trump himself has said some very questionable and bigoted things. But that doesn’t mean they’re a liar if you’re not a bigot, that’s their opinion and they are allowed to have that opinion, just like you’re allowed to have yours.
Yes. I believe the world would be better off without them. Disagree if you like, nothing wrong with that, but im of the opinion that fixing our problems in any real capacity is going to require that we stop putting the focus on being polite and proper.
Sure, but the primary axis of his lies regard his claims about me based on my history. Primarily, that I have not made this post, or any for that matter, in good faith.
If being a bigot is just a matter of opinion, what's the point in calling people it at all? Might as well be just another insult if the criteria is just whatever someone feels like at the moment, especially if the person in question doesn't actually meet the proper definition of the term.
So you believe that people killing themselves at your insistence is a good thing? And you expect people to take you seriously with that point of view?
Not being polite, and telling people to kill themselves are 2 completely different things.
I mean, words change meaning all the time due to people misusing the word. For instance, literally. Linguists have had to create 2 separate definitions for the word because so many people were using it in a figurative sense. Stupid is another word that has changed definitions over time. That doesn’t make people who use those terms liars, maybe more or less misinformed on the definition, or history of the word.

Sure. And if meanings change, we have to acknowledge the usage of the new meaning because trying to map the connotation of the old meaning to the definition of the new one. If bigot is just a generic insult progressives throw at everyone they disagree with, fine. But anyone engaging in honest discussion must also acknowledge that difference as well, and not then try to bring in the connotation of what being a bigot implies using the original meaning.
What are your thoughts on Jews?
I don't think about them particularly often.
