With gaming often bringing me into a really depressive headspace sometimes with how the markets are developing, whats a game you can always go to and just be lost in, or just be happy with?

Personally i would go for advance wars 1 and 2 on the gba (there is no remake and never will be)

the artstyle, the music, the game-play is just simple, yet effective, a sublime experience of very fun times.

Stardew Valley is amazing for this. Minecraft was it for years and years, but Stardew is just like a nice hug. I adore it.

Hogwarts Legacy has also fallen into this category for me now.

+1 for minecraft, but i tend to go through phases where i play it 24/7 for a few months and then i never even think about it for a few months

My days with Minecraft seem to be behind me though. With the account migration, I was unable to complete it due not using the email registered with the account for like 5 years. The email needs me to verify by SMS, of which I've not had that number for 6+ years. With them reportedly deleting accounts that aren't migrated, looks like I'll be done for permanently. So, RIP Minecraft, my old friend.

oh wow that's insane. I'm sure you could figure out a way to recover it before they purge but that sucks to hear though.

+1 For Stardew, you can get lost for hours in pelican town looking after your turnips and parsnips.
