From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

My Surface GO also refuses to boot Linux usb sticks directly (interestingly windows usb sticks are no problem).
What worked for me is creating a ventoy usb stick and then putting the iso on there.
If this does not work you can try to set the boot order from fedora with
efibootmgr
. More infosThanks I guess I’ll try that👍
Well apparently the Ventoy trick is working. At least it booted on it as Clonezilla is taking 4 hours to clone my disk. So for now I don’t have a definitive result.
I’ve tried with a usb-c ventoyed stick and I’ll also try with a usb-a with adapter ventoyed stick.
