a huge website of reference for prog music : progarchives.com ; if you don't know it yet, check it out!
A place to share and discuss new and overlooked music that is progressive in both senses of the word; forward thinking music that pushes the boundaries of its genre, and music that utilizes unusual time signatures, harmonies, scales and song structures.
Nice. This is a great resource.
It is wonderful. It is highly detailed, exploring the sub-genres is very interesting and helps a lot to find other bands. There are similar websites for metal and jazz : https://www.metalmusicarchives.com/ and https://www.jazzmusicarchives.com/
Nice. I'll bookmark those too.
Thanks for this info. I've never heard of metalmusicarchives and it seems it will be great resource.
I only used https://www.metal-archives.com in the past and while it's great on its own, it feels a lot "out of touch" with not-so-metal music at times.
