Dani Fusion just got in, pictured with a Dyna to show the form factor, since most people will be familiar with that.

First impressions: It arrived dirty af. Had to clean it thoroughly and particularly scrub the cap with baking soda + vinegar for a while to get it looking good, so that was a bit disappointing. Heating to the click gives me warm air pretty much. I haven't quite figured it out over my first 2 sessions and only managed to get some visible vapor for one single hit, heating ~5-10s after the click. I might need a bit of a beefier torch for this one to really make it shine? Build quality seems very solid and it looks and feels classy, although if you look closely, you'll see some small machining flaws. The leather case is nice for the metal stem (not pictured), unfortunately it's a bit tight for the wood stem. It's great for taking off the hot cap and lying that down somewhere though and it looks great, so I'm hoping it'll wear out a bit and get looser over time. We'll see.

Not sure yet how I like it overall, first sessions weren't great but then again every vape and especially every butane vape has a learning curve and some of the trickier ones to master I grew to love over time. I might come back for a little review once I've used it more extensively :)

Ever check out the Lotus vaporizer? It's a convection vaporizer which is unlike most other vapes on the market (and very different from the vapcap). Basically you heat a plate while drawing air over the plate - this is a forced convection heating. The faster you draw and move the torch, the more uniform your extraction. From a cold start, I can completely extract everything in a single rip, or temp step and play with the temps by adjusting draw speeds, etc.

It's a very analogue device. But it's so easy to combust (if you leave the torch heating one spot too long) so I NEVER shared mine with friends.

Oh yeah, I have one (original US maple version). I can't say I've ever really mastered it, but I get it out every now and then and sometimes I get really great sessions out of it.

I gotta step up my torch game though, not really happy on that front yet. I got a lot of great butane vapes that deserve better than the shitty, inconsistent, small flames gas station torches I got. So if you got any recommendations there, I'm all ears!

Blazer GT8000 big shot butane torch is a monster. I haven't used it w one of these but it will heat up a titanium nail to red hot in seconds. Don't expect it to fit in a pocket though.
