Lol, I should check in here more often.

I just use a triple flame torch with the Dani. Bit of a butane hog tbh, even compared to my other butane vapes but it just hits so nice!

BAKx and sticky brick are pretty different actually, the former is mostly conduction heat, the latter full convection. The BAKx is basically an electronic vaponic on steroids.

Nothing new over the holidays but I finally got off my ass and sent my BAKx (which I got in early 2023) in for repair. Still mostly using the Dani Fusion right now, I bought that in September or October I believe. Both great vapes, looking forward to getting my bak back soon!

Venti certainly looks interesting although people also love mighty and crafty which were both pretty underwhelming to me when I tried them with friends.

Right now I'm pretty happy with where my collection is although there are always more vapes I'd like to try. Gonna go back to my one new vape per year after splurging on two last year (finishing uni and getting my first big boy job was a good excuse to treat myself a bit).

V3p is a great budget pick, I like mine as beater vape I can bring anywhere. Great stealth factor too since people just assume it's some kinda ecig. Not using it at home though, I got plenty more interesting options for home use. Mostly been doing Dyna half bowls since I got back from vacation, boutta hit a full dani bowl once I'm home from work.

Hitting three weeks of no cannabis in 2 days. I'm on a long vacation in countries with very strict drug laws, so I decided I wouldn't go search for it and just take the opportunity for the first long break in many many years. Looking forward to hitting some super light bowls and getting baked af from them once I get home at the end of this week though, ngl!

Nice, nothing I'm particularly interested in personally but it's good to see more options in the mid priced section pop up! Any reason to recommend it to people who want to get their feet wet over a V3 Pro for example?

I wasn't exactly accurate with my statement tbf, the capsules I have are for the Fenix mini, one of the bazillion fury clones. Bought from verdampftnochmal (German shop). I imagine they work well for conduction vapes. Not at home rn but I'll try to remember to send you a pic!

The ones I have are pretty thick metal, lid screws on and they have holes on the side. Those suck because they take a long time to heat up. The V3 ones have no holes on the sides, only top and bottom and they are much lighter/thinner walls, so much better for convection.

Yeah, it clicks (once, not twice like a Dyna). The click is very early for my taste but counting to ~3-6 after the click works well for big tasty clouds. That is when heating it with a triple flame torch which is my preferred method so far. Single flame takes way too long. Something with a bigger flame like a crème brullée torch might work aswell. I think some induction heaters can also handle it, but I'm not 100% sure about that. My DIY one is too weak.

Love mine as a beater vape for taking with me everywhere. Vape + 5 dosing caps usually lasts me well for a day/evening out, it doesn't take up a lot of space and people don't give you a second look when using it in public because they assume it's some kind of e-cig. And it extracts well and tastes okayish for most of the sesh.

Wouldn't use it at home, but I got a sizeable collection of great vapes to choose from. For someone with low budget, it'd be feasible as only vape too I imagine!

Pro tip - Fury Edge/POTV One capsules fit the oven on the Xmax v3 Pro.

That's true, but they don't work very well in my experience (the ones I have at least). There are dedicated v3 Pro dosing caps that are lighter weight and have no holes on the sides that work much much better.

Also if you wanna know anything about this vape, ama. Been using it a lot over the last couple weeks since I got it and have dialed my technique in pretty consistently at this point.

Beautiful piece! Didn't know there was already a fw9, seems people weren't that enthused about the 8

Oh yeah, I have one (original US maple version). I can't say I've ever really mastered it, but I get it out every now and then and sometimes I get really great sessions out of it.

I gotta step up my torch game though, not really happy on that front yet. I got a lot of great butane vapes that deserve better than the shitty, inconsistent, small flames gas station torches I got. So if you got any recommendations there, I'm all ears!

Dani Fusion just got in, pictured with a Dyna to show the form factor, since most people will be familiar with that.

First impressions: It arrived dirty af. Had to clean it thoroughly and particularly scrub the cap with baking soda + vinegar for a while to get it looking good, so that was a bit disappointing. Heating to the click gives me warm air pretty much. I haven't quite figured it out over my first 2 sessions and only managed to get some visible vapor for one single hit, heating ~5-10s after the click. I might need a bit of a beefier torch for this one to really make it shine? Build quality seems very solid and it looks and feels classy, although if you look closely, you'll see some small machining flaws. The leather case is nice for the metal stem (not pictured), unfortunately it's a bit tight for the wood stem. It's great for taking off the hot cap and lying that down somewhere though and it looks great, so I'm hoping it'll wear out a bit and get looser over time. We'll see.

Not sure yet how I like it overall, first sessions weren't great but then again every vape and especially every butane vape has a learning curve and some of the trickier ones to master I grew to love over time. I might come back for a little review once I've used it more extensively :)

Finally got a decent paying job, need to send in my BAKx for repair and my go-to vape shop is having a sale. Enough reasons for me to splurge a bit and add another piece to my collection. Been eyeing the Dani line up for a while now and I'm looking forward to playing around with the Fusion!

Bakbakbakbaaaak

In for a hard day of playing witcher and recharging my social battery before I start a new job tomorrow.

When I took the video, I was still working on fully dialing in the settings so I came pretty close to combustion, but it does show off the insane vapor density that this vape can achieve pretty well.

Got it fully dialed in by now so I get the same overall performance but without combustion risk now. Although I'm happy to say I never did actually combust with it, just came very close a couple times!

Happy to discuss any of these bad boys! All but the VaporGenie see regular use. I also got an old MFLB stashed aways somewhere that I bring out maybe once a year or so for a sesh but I forgot to include it in the pic and can't be arsed to take another one rn.
