This is why NASA should never have outsourced its rocket programme.
What!?? Being reliant on a petulant manchild isn't a good long term strategy??? Who would have guessed?
What would the alternative for transport to and from the ISS have been? Keep flying the Space Shuttle for two more decades? Ares I + Orion? SLS + Orion? Rely on Soyuz indefinitely?
Falcon 9 + Dragon are one of the best returns on investment NASA have gotten recently.
Considering the head of the Russian space programme threatened to yeet the ISS at Ukraine, relying on Soyuz might not be any more sane than this.
Well, it’s not looking too good right now.
or maybe the government should have purchased the capsule outright instead of on a contract.
