I went to make a cup of tea and my favourite mug just went 'crack' right through when I poured the boiling water in. And then the water was coming out the bottom somewhere.
It's probably 20 years old. Very sad. I have a million mugs (I think they breed in the cupboard) but only a handful of 'good' ones which are my go-tos for tea.
Once upon a time the Advanced students got to keep a mug in the teachers lounge because class was out of usual hours. Mine vanished. After exams were over a dickhead I once had a crush on admitted to breaking it months ago. Dude...
Mine got stolen
Doh, sorry to hear about your mug.
Maybe it was too cold and the water was too hot, had that happen to an old bowl once.
No :( Iβve had that happen to a lovely mug (hairline crack) and itβs now serving as a pen holder
Condolences.
The loss of a favourite mug is a sad day indeed. RIP
