Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

When is that overview from? I notice it mentions DivestOS which is no more and also that it talks about delayed security updates on CalyxOS.
If you check CalyxOS news you can see that they've published monthly security updates for at least a year now. Often bimonthly.

The original overview dates back to 2023 but is updated, e.g. to mention EoL of DivestOS. Security updates are observed over a longer period of time. Its criticism is that though updates are provided monthly their release in comparision to the release of the patches is delayed by some days and sometimes incomplete. Well, AXP.OS exists but it's in early development and the pro version is rooted (so use the light if available).
