Fediverse vs Disinformation
Pointing out, debunking, and spreading awareness about state- and company-sponsored astroturfing on Lemmy and elsewhere. This includes social media manipulation, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns, among others.
Propaganda and disinformation are a big problem on the internet, and the Fediverse is no exception.
What's the difference between misinformation and disinformation? The inadvertent spread of false information is misinformation. Disinformation is the intentional spread of falsehoods.
By equipping yourself with knowledge of current disinformation campaigns by state actors, corporations and their cheerleaders, you will be better able to identify, report and (hopefully) remove content matching known disinformation campaigns.

Jeez I mean if they cared about it this much I would think that maybe they would be upset if that research didn't get to their hands, I mean they must have just not seen it otherwise there wouldn't be a weird silence about it right? How could any of their genuine concern make sense if they were just silent when the research didn't fit the particular narrative they had prepared?
Maybe we all need to print out copies of the research and do the kind thing and bring it to their door to remind them the very important research they ordered is done!
they never cared about research or proof or anything other than hating anyone who isn't white/male/straight/cis/evangelical R voters who are >2nd generation pure murican. excluding native americans of course.
they are dehumanizing these groups of "other," and they just don't care how wrong the research says they are
Fascism has always been inherently anti-scientific.
