Maybe, I don't know. That's why I ask.
At [email protected] we call memes "Michmichs" because me = mich in German.
Yeah "ikiks" wouldn't really work haha. "Mijmijs"? Idk at R*ddit people used "meems" in the Dutchs communities. Sounds logical to me, it's a Dutch sounding word that believably could be "meme" in english. Just like "name" is "naam" in Dutch.
The official accepted in the Dutch community is memerijen, liberally translated at memeries
I can live with that haha. Memerijen sounds like the more formal word. But it's also silly so it's okay
Mijmijs is not too bad
And using "MeMes" ("me", "mij", "mijn") isn't funny enough.
