Pretty much this:

I have an older USB C power bank from 2016 and it will only charge with a USB A to USB C cable. This is great information that needs to get to everyone, a lot of people don't know this.

Also it is nice to have old chargers that don't have variable charging incase some devices go dead and no longer charge at higher speeds. Happend to me recently

Anker battery packs let you double click the button on them to reduce to minimal charge.

But it needs power to do that, it could have issues if it was completely drained

I meant it can be set to deliver minimal charging power for those devices that can’t handle variable.

Ah. Just wish anker was a more trustworthy company, but after their camera fiasco, i stopped buying them.

What camera fiasco? I only know them for their battery packs and wall warts.

Oh, they had cameras ip open. Look it up.

Oh. The usual, then.

Again, I had no idea they made anything smarter than a battery.

It’s so hard for companies to not be evil.

This should be a design requirement for every product anyways
