the fucking churches fly pride flags here, are these churches not part of the country? hey christians, eurovision banned religious imagery!

All Christians care about is voting for Israel, even when they don't watch eurovision. That's how Israel got so many votes last year while everyone was booing so hard (even through the anti boo filters they used). There were tutorials on how and when you should vote to support Israel for Israeli and Christians. And many Christians are anti LGBTQ+ so they support this ban. Even though eurovision is as gay as you can get it.
