More context:

A GoFundMe page to pay for Morin's funeral and support her children raised tens of thousands of dollars. However, in a lawsuit filed in the Harford County Circuit Court, the children said they have yet to see any of that money, the Banner reported.

According to the Banner, the lawsuit says Morin's children, between the ages of 8 and 19, also have not received any proceeds from four restaurant fundraisers held on their behalf.

Seems typically Republican of her

I'd say Congress material right there.

Can someone explain a non-US reader why she was at Trump's throne? I don't get it.

She's willing to dishonor the memory of her son by blaming all foreigners for her son's death.

Isn't it her daughter that died?

Political points, plain and simple. The right loves to fear monger over brown people, so in the uncommon occurrence that an illegal immigrant does something truly bad, the right wing grift-o-matic kicks into high gear. The affected people start seeing dollar signs and the politicians see an opportunity to scapegoat an entire group and scare their base into forfeiting more power for the illusion of “security.”

It's not supposed to be a throne, lol. It's where anyone speaking from the podium, is speaking for the white house and is approved by the white house.

I meant the photo where he's sitting at his desk. I don't think he knows it's not supposed to be a throne.

Very true. It could very well be a commode as well. I think it is a world wide thing to call the toilet a throne.
