I understand the reference but don't get what the punchline is supposed to be. Is it just that they rhyme?
M'yeah... I don't think there's a punchline to this. This joke is more situational, I guess... 🤔
I make comics that I find funny. It simply tickles my funny bone just thinking of Tyler Durden explaining the rules of Fight Club to a bunch of knights (or men with kites). My overactive brain automatically wants to change the whole speech, which I actually did, just for fun (and a little compulsively):
The first rule of Knight Club is you do not talk about Knight Club.
Second rule of Knight Club is you DO NOT TALK ABOUT KNIGHT CLUB!!!
Third rule of Knight Club: someone yells stop, goes limp, taps out… the knight is over.
Fourth rule: only two guys to a knight.
Fifth rule: only one knight at a time, fellas.
Sixth rule: no shirts, no shoes.
Seventh rule: knights will go on as long as they have to.
And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first night at Knight Club… you have to knight.
Wait. Is my humor extrapolational? 😶
