I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a federal worker.

Right now I'm working on my resume. I'm open to work, preferably in finance as I have my accounting degree. If you know of anyone hiring please let me know.

As I have mentioned before, please do not post your political beliefs as I am not interested in debates or opinions. During this time, please remember that government employees are workers at risk of losing their job. It's scary as most of us have dedicated our careers to government and government operations is all that most of us know and now will be forced to look outside for other options and start over. No matter which side everyone is one, no one wants to lose their job so please be mindful of this. Remember that government employees are humans too and it is a very scary time for most of us and our families.

sorry, but no, this is a really bad idea.

you are now becoming a trump supporter as your way of fighting trump

if accelerationism worked, it would have worked before now, things have been dramatically getting worse for decades

accelerationism is one of the ways they trick us into supporting their goals. don't fall for it.

we need solidarity and we need to take bold action collectively. ignore neoliberals, go throw molotov cocktails at parked cop cars. it's a lot more effective than accelerationism.

No because you're advocating for disorganized chaos that will give justification to the authoritarians to crack down on dissenting voices and it will make opposition look the part of terrorists. This hasn't worked before, it won't work in the future, it's just petty, juvenile emotional backlash without a fucking shred of actual brainwork towards the future.

When you want to change the political direction of a nation, your options are armed uprisings or larger, gradual social movements. If we had an armed uprising right now, who the bloody fuck do you think is going to win? We don't have the military, we don't have law enforcement. Are you daft? Seriously are you eating pure lead paste? Encouraging people to firebomb law enforcement just randomly?

MEANWHILE, there are literally hundreds of millions of American working schlubs just WAITING for direction, they just need a good narrative to blame their discomfort on, then you get their hearts and minds, then you get the working class, then you have the police, then you have the military, so if it comes to armed uprisings, you will actually have a chance of success like what happens when dictators are successfully overthrown. Seriously, I urge you to read about how this goes down in other countries before just swallowing the first cathartic idea someone throws you on the internet.

We're not at "revolution" yet, not even close, but we CAN get there if we get enough Americans to realize where they're headed. They don't even want to look at this right now, so we have to make them look.

edit: we don't even have the MEDIA

no, i'm not, i'm advocating for solidarity, the exact opposite of what you described.

accelerationism is evil, it's a sacrifice of vulnerable people/groups to try and shock less-vulnerable groups into action. it doesn't work, it has never worked and will never work.

you need solidarity. you need to work towards building it. that means you need to accept that you're not always right and that other people have valuable perspectives.

when there are enough people on our side we will be able to change the system without excessive violence just through withholding our labour.

Okay you keep doing "civility" while there are people fashioning a custom enemy against us, an enemy that doesn't rest or sleep or care about each others comforts, and liberals like you are out here falling apart at the idea that we're in a war and people will suffer one way or another, and if you spend your life trying to keep ANYONE from suffering, EVERYONE will suffer.

This is why I believe it's entirely performative, so people like you can say "I did everything right" and be absolved of the hardships we're all going to be going through and the difficult decisions that you don't escape from in life, the accountability that you have to do things that harm others is a FACT of life you either deal with or keep running from the actual fight.

Liberals like you are out here making the simple idea of "make the working class uncomfortable" out to sound the same as "lets pave over gaza and turn it into a strip club." Which is why people like you aren't leaders. It's just unfortunate our actual leaders are stupid sacks of hate who ACTUALLY want to turn Gaza into a strip club, while America's libs and centrists wring their hands and go "I'm sure someone will come along and save us, someone will start a nice, civil, peaceful revolution and then after when we restore liberal America we can go back to arguing on the internet if hugs are misogynist for lefty-points™."

t’s a sacrifice of vulnerable people/groups to try and shock less-vulnerable groups into action.

What the living fuck do you think I'm advocating here? YEAH LETS GET THE TRANS KIDS IN TRAINS TO OWN THE RIGHT. Seriously, take a breath.
