I don't understand why a smart person acts so condescending to anyone she perceives to be inferior to her while at the same time needing so much attention from a preceptor she apparently considers to be over her (the doctor she accidentally stabbed on the foot).

There are just people like that and she deserves the dressing downs she gets.

Having said that they somehow managed to make the character likeable (at least to me) and relatable.

I think she had a funny sense of humor but needs to reign it in (calling Victoria "Crash"is hilarious to me).

I also think she will have a huge fall from grace by the end of the season and be out put in her place.

What makes the show great is that all the characters are likeable in summer way, even when they're assholes.
