I'll start with Saul Williams. I found out about him because he opened for NiN. He was great. I thought he was going to break through when I heard him in a Nike commerical, but nope his social conscious rap didn't catch on.

What people or groups do you think should be more popular? Also name/link some songs.

He started out in the dreamy hazy r&b vibes of early weeknd, and now is more in the soul funk area.

He got a bit of hype on TikTok recently with his song Soft Spot, and him dancing in the music video for it. But dude is SO talented. Makes such good music. And is such a massive vibe.

I still listen to and watch his Blue Album stuff. He made old school homemade 90s R&B videos for all the songs on the album. And it’s SO good.
