Welcome to the Vegan Theory Club Weekly Megathread!

Questions of the week: (Feel free to answer one, both, neither, or posit your own!):

  1. What is a recent piece of media you've enjoyed lately? (e.g. books, art, games, music)
  2. Did you discover tofu after becoming vegan? how long did it take?

Feel free to talk about anything, whether it’s vegan-related or not. This is a chill space for connecting, sharing ideas, and supporting each other; however, please keep in mind: vegans only, and we abide by the Anarchist Code of Conduct.

  1. I've been listening to a bunch of music lately and I've been reading (a physical book) for the first time in five years, which is cool.
  2. I discovered "cooking" with tofu a year before I became vegan when I was a vege****an. I would take it out of the fridge and eat it raw in the block it came in. Now, when I use it I actually make sure it soaks up the flavours in my cooking Chef Kiss, but I still sometimes get the urge to eat it on its own haha.

When I'm in the mood for plain-ish tofu, I like to pan fry it with a bit of salt and sesame oil:

One of the my favourite things about tofu is how versatile it is!
