Good news on one of your requests! There seems to already be a piracy community here.

Yeah, I think I found it, LOL 😂. I can't seem to find a search option on Jerboa, but I logged in through the browser, you can search in there.

I'm still finding my way around, too. But so far I'm liking it. Love your instance name lmao

I use the same on reddit, figured if people transfered here, might as well keep the same uname, lol 😂.

EDIT: Is lemmy case sensitive regarding unames?

It's the 3 stacked lines icon on the bottom bar, beside the Home icon. It seems like that if you input part of the community name, it'll find it, but it doesn't seems to find communities by topic or anything like that.

That is... competely unintuitive 🤨... like why not just have a spyglass icon there, why the hamburger thing 🤨... maybe it's a bug 🤷.

Yeah, it searches only by community name, not by topic, but hey, reddit works the same way (almost) and I didn't really mind that.

What bugs me is the URL handling, it keeps redirecting me to a browser, then I have to copy the instance-community link and copy it back here for the search 😒.

I find that I'm actually getting better search results using just the community have without the rest of the URL.

No, sorry, in the web browser.

Agreed hahaha.

The search redirects me within the app, but links for communities in comments seem to open in the browser. Seems that that are still some bugs here and there in the app.

Yeah, that's what I meant.

I desperately will need a new OutoftheLoop lol. A new DIWHY as long as it also doesn’t get filled with ragebait…

[-] PCChipsM922U 2 points 1 year ago

I was actually thinking of opening up a upvotedbecauseofboobs and hornyjail 😂. Shouldn't take too much moderation, it's NSFW by default 😂.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Oh man, I remember back when there was no ragebait on DIWhy. What a glorious time that was. It was like RedneckEngineering meets ATBGE

[-] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

2nd all the edm, edm production subs and add r/synthesizers. Lemmy needs more blippy bloops

Yeah, I've already found most of these, thanks though 👍 ☺️.
